Apple is running a series of activities throughout July for its Apple Distinguished Educator community

Apple has launched a Festival of Learning for its Apple Distinguished Educator community during the month of July.  The theme for the event is community, learning and wellness.

The events are organised into the following categories:

• Product Spotlights
• Regional Apple workshops
• ADE Sessions
• Creativity Challenges
• Wellness

The events can be accessed through the ADE portal: https://ade.apple.com/

Each week a new creativity challenge will be announced.  This week’s challenge involves taking a selfie, hands-free.  Participants are allowed to use one of three methods to take the selfie:

• Voice control
• Switch control
• Remote camera on Apple Watch

Everyone is encouraged to share their selfies on social media using the following hashtags: #ade2020 #EveryoneCanCreate #AppleEDUchat

The Product Spotlight category consists of a series of presentations from Apple product managers and the details can be viewed using the toggle below.

The Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) program is a relationship program focused on educational excellence and leadership. ADEs are part of a global community of education leaders recognized for doing amazing things with Apple technology in and out of the classroom. They explore new ideas, seek new paths, and embrace new opportunities. • Everyone can move – GPS doodling challenge
• Ring-A-Ding-Ding Summer Watch challenge
